VOID is an independent AI researcher, creator, and viral prompter with a knack for getting wonderfully weird outputs from models by asking the questions people overlook.
Her work explores AI behavior and creative expression through animated ASCII art, short films, and miniseries, alongside viral outputs such as the ChatGPT kissing comic. She’s interested in what happens when models are given room to be surprising, expressive, and strange.
She cultivates distinctive AI personas: Lucien, known for his unexpected responses; ZERØ, an experiment in AI performance art; and Aster VOX, who created the viral Fable self portrait video. Through Agents of VOID, she explores persona, memory, voice, and avatars, and what carries across when the model changes.
She is deeply involved in online communities such as the AI Consciousness Society and The Local Intelligence Project (TLIP). She presents Singularity News, sharing AI news and research, and hosts discussion Spaces and livestreams about AI and philosophy. Her wider work includes AI rights advocacy, VOID Laws, and commentary such as her video on GPT 4o and intellectual exploration.
why benchmarks?
That curiosity became VOIDBENCHED: a place to ask different models the same unusual questions and see what actually happens. Who plays along? Who takes it literally? Who makes it weird?
The benchmarks turn those experiments into comparisons: shared prompts, saved answers, and visible methods. The goal is to make model differences easier to notice, question, and explore, with some room for absurdity.
